FAQs

You must have lots of questions! It’s completely normal, it’s probably the first time you’ve organised an event quite like this. No question is a stupid question. Do have a read of the FAQs below but if you still have questions please do get in touch and we can arrange a call or Skype, we can have a proper chat about your day and I can talk you through how I work as well.

1. Will it be you photographing our day?

Absolutely! If you hire me, it will be me on the day, I don't outsource to anyone else, it's important to me to get to know the people I am photographing.

2. Do you do group/formal photos?

Definitely! Even though my style is very natural I still photograph those important family photos for the memory books. I recommend keeping them around 5-10 groups so you don't spend too long away from your guests but of course we can do more if you'd like.

3. Can we make prints from the files we receive?

Of course! All the photos are processed and high resolution - in colour and duplicated into black and white - for you to print from

4. Are you insured?

Yes, I have professional indemnity and Public Liability Insurance. I also use two cameras at all times to make sure that I always have a back up.

5. How long does it take to receive our photos?

During the very busy summer wedding season these can take up to 10 weeks but I am more than happy to send you a small selection for thank you cards in advance.

6. Can you pencil us in while we decide?

I'm afraid not. The only way to save the date is to sign the booking form and transfer the £500 non-refundable fee. It's the fairest way for all those who enquire.

7. Can we speak to you before we book?

Of course! I am happy to have a call or Skype so we can 'meet' or if you're ever in Brighton let's do coffee! I am regularly in London so that can often be arranged as well.

8. Is there an extra charge for travel?

I include all travel costs in the UK. If the wedding will be more than 12 hours including travel time from Brighton then I may require 1 or 2 nights in a Premier Inn.

9. Do you offer albums?

Absolutely! I offer beautiful fine art albums and you can either book an album package or order one after your wedding day. Some clients add them to their gift list.

10. How many weddings have you photographed?

I have photographed nearly 300 weddings so you can be sure that you're not only getting a style you like but many years experience as well.

11. Do we need a 2nd photographer?

I generally don't find it necessary but if we have a chat and it seems as though you'd need one then I can get someone that fits my style for £250

12. Would you need some food on the day?

I'd really appreciate something hot to eat, it's a long day and I won't have eaten since breakfast. It definitely does not need to be 3 courses! I eat while you are eating to make sure I am on hand to photograph when you're ready.

13. We'd love to book you before anyone else does, what are the next steps?

That’s great news! I’m really excited to photograph your wedding! Do get in contact, I can send you my brochure and we can schedule in a quick chat before I send you out my online booking form and bank details. I will require both your signatures on the form, as well as the £500 non-refundable fee to secure the date. The balance is due 6 weeks before the day.
