I loved being a Sorrento wedding photographer – Italy is one of my favourite destinations and it is always a dream to be asked to photograph a wedding there. Emma & Adam were married in June in stunning Sorrento in Italy, a seaside clifftop town with incredible views. Everything about Italy always charms me – several of my family live all over Italy, in Venice and Tuscany, but there’s something about the Amalfi coast which will steal your heart and Sorrento is no exception. Thank you to Fiona Kelly for having me along to assist. While she covered the girls getting ready I headed to the grand Palazzo Marziale to photograph the boys before we arrived at the beautiful Museo Corral for their Italian civil ceremony which was full of laughter, before a drinks reception in the shade of the trees in the courtyard.

After that we went in buses up the mountain, enjoying the incredible views along the way to the exclusive Relais Blu restaurant for drinks, dinner and speeches. The terrace and dining room overlooks Capri and the view was breathtaking – just a sea of blue stretching as far as the eye can see and olive trees for photos.

After dinner we headed even further up the mountain to Castore where we watched the sunset from the vineyard behind, had some more romantic portraits in amongst the vines and then danced the night away. What a wedding! I have every hope that I get to go back again soon.
