Wakehurst Place wedding – Kate & Darren

This was my first Wakehurst Place wedding and it was so gorgeous. I’ve been there for many garden visits before so I was really excited when Kate and Darren got in touch to say they were holding their Jewish Wakehurst place wedding.

Kate got ready at home with her parents and then jumped in a vintage car to Wakehurst where all their guests were waiting for their outside ceremony with a string quartet. They had a lovely legal ceremony, followed by a Jewish ceremony. Afterwards they held drinks on the lawn before a BBQ on the lawns outside the marquee with the house in the background. Their speeches were hilarious and emotional, I love photographing speeches, so many reactions, I always laugh along with them. After their first dance they danced the night away with Jewish dancing, always so much fun and exhausting!
