Brighton Town Hall Elopement – Aimee & Andy
I love a Brighton Town Hall elopement and Aimee and Andy threw a gorgeous one. Now I have children I really appreciate the total chaos and joy children bring to a wedding day (and every day!) I embrace it and when you do that you capture the real heart of their family, which I think you can see here. The ceremony was heartfelt, short and sweet. Shoes were removed, sunglasses tried on, laps sat on, their little girl did a reading, rings were exchanged with both kids on hand to ‘help’. It was lovely. Afterwards they headed outside for the windiest colourful confetti ever. As it kicked up gorgeous colourful swirls of confetti the children kicked off their shoes and twirled in it with total joy. Sometimes there is beauty in imperfection. We didn’t get that perfect family photo, but what they did get is exactly what they wanted – a snapshot of their family unit.
Afterwards we snuck away for a couple of minutes upstairs in the town hall, then off to some grafiti and a stop at The Mesmerist, where they met, for a photo, then they went off to have lunch with their two friends and celebrate the day and off I went home. Such a fun few hours with the loveliest people.
“Thanks so much for joining us on Thursday, it was so easy to have you there. You made everything really easy and did everything possible to make sure we were happy. A big thank you and we love the photos!” – Aimee & Andy
You can see some more Brighton Town Hall elopements here: Ed & Leanne and Sarah & Luke (coming soon) I do a midweek (Monday-Thursday) package for elopements/micro weddings, just 1-2 hours, really relaxed and fun and a Brighton Town Hall elopement is one of my favourite, I live just up the road.
