This was my first Edes House wedding in Chichester and it was so lovely. I’ve wanted to photograph a wedding at Edes House before and even though I’ve photographed weddings in Chichester before, this was my first time at Edes House. Christine and Connor decided to elope with just their two friends. They got ready at home and then a friend picked them up in his Mustang and drove them to Edes House for their ceremony in the little Goodwood Room. The ceremony was full of laughter, they had us all in tears with their emotional vows as well. Their rings were in a ring box engraved with their individual heartbeats. After the ceremony they exited through bubbles which was so much fun. then we walked across the road to the cathedral and into the stunning Bishops Palace Gardens for their portraits.
I love photographing elopements, there’s something so special about two people wanting to say their vows with just two very special people to them, no fuss, just the words and the emotions. I love all weddings and I’m so lucky that I get to see so many different types, and I can’t wait to photograph another Edes House wedding!
“Thank you so much for the photos, they are absolutely stunning!” – Christine & Connor
