Morden Hall wedding – Kata & Ross

I was so excited to photograph a Morden Hall wedding as soon as I found out that the beautiful hall had been refurbished for weddings. It is a stunning location in south London, set in private grounds within beautiful parkland which belongs to the National Trust. Kata got ready upstairs in the bridal suite, whilst Alex their wedding planner from The Bijou Bride was busy downstairs making sure everything looked amazing and ran smoothly. Aesme Flowers filled the building with flowers, having specially made hanging planters for a mixture of wild flowers and beautiful roses which hung above the long tables set with place names modelled on Penguin book covers.

The ceremony was held in the Willow room where Kata entered by the beautiful staircase, and during the ceremony they combined vials of sand from New Zealand and Hungary. Afterwards they held a drinks reception on the lawn with games, before I took them away for some portraits on the bridge. They held speeches in the dining room before dancing the night away with a ceilidh and Hungarian dancing.
