Old Marylebone Town Hall wedding – Luke & Caoimhe
I love an Old Marylebone Town Hall wedding. Since it was refurbished I have photographed there numerous times, always in a different room – the Westminster Room is the largest of all of them, so it’s perfect for a larger wedding of 100 guests. Luke and Caoimhe were married there in March, on a chilly day with pretty cool dark clouds which gave us very atmospheric portraits.
After the ceremony they jumped in a taxi for their portraits around St Pauls and on the Milennium Bridge, two of my favourite spots for London photos. Afterwards a taxi took us to St Barts Brewery which is a huge double height room, perfect for relaxed weddings. They’d put so much thought into their table names, illustrated characters from movies and TV programmes. Inbetween courses they had great speeches, followed by dancing the night away. As always, it was so much fun to photograph alongside Gary from Thompson Granger Films.
