Slaugham Place Wedding – Emma & Liz
Living in Sussex means I’ve always dreamed of a Slaugham Place wedding and I was so excited when Emma and Liz contacted me. We got on so well and I was really looking forward to it. The forecast was for rain so they went for a transparent marquee over the ceremony area. Luckily there was only a little light rain and then the sun came out beautifully for the rest of the day. The ruins and grounds at Slaugham Place are stunning, a photographers dream! My favourite moment was when the mums walked in together, supporting each other, it was so lovely to see. The ceremony was full of lots of laughter and some tears, beautiful music and readings. Emma and Liz then exited through a shower of confetti by the yew hedges. Afterwards there were lots of hugs and laughter with drinks on the lawns. Then group photos by the ruins.
We had time for gorgeous, romantic portraits around the grounds. A delicious meal was served in the pretty marquee, before emotional speeches by their family and Emma and Liz themselves. Everything about the day was perfect, everything I wanted from a Slaugham Place wedding and I can’t wait to be back there soon!
